Description

Homelea Cottage and 'The Cottage' are a pair of cottages that were originally one house, dating from the 18th century. They are constructed from coursed rubble gritstone and feature coped gables with moulded kneelers at the north end, along with a single gable ridge stack and a plain clay tiled roof. The buildings are two storeys high and consist of two bays, each with two light flush mullioned windows and single glazing bar casements. The doorway at the north end has chamfered quoins and a lintel. There is a 20th-century lean-to extension at the north end. The cottages are listed for their group value.
