Description

The gateway to Arnewood Court, located beside South Lodge, was built in the late 19th century for A.T.T. Peterson. It features mass concrete construction with wrought iron gates. The design includes two gate piers with quadrant walls extending from them to end piers. The plinths have a plinth and moulded panels, with the outer plinths topped by a cornice and pyramidal tops, while the inner plinths have been rebuilt similarly and are surmounted by ball-finials. The walls are adorned with a plinth and a heavy moulded cornice that ramps up to the gate piers.
