Description

Drunduan Farmhouse is a mid-19th century farmhouse that was significantly enlarged around 1880 for ATT Peterson. The original section is constructed of brick, while later additions are of mass concrete. The roofs are slate covered. The farmhouse sits on a corner where Sway Barrows Lane meets Flexford Lane, with a two-storey, three-bay addition along Barrows Lane and a two-storey, two-by-two bay block. The Barrows Lane elevation presents the older part on the left-hand side. A square-plan, concrete porch with a cornice to a vaulted roof sits to the right-hand side, over a small sash window, and is against the added block. The original section has a hipped roof and a large rendered stack on the front face. The added block has four-pane sashes, set under raised arches with keys, and a moulded cornice. It also has a hipped roof and a stack at the right-hand end.
