Description

Farmhouse. Built in the early 18th century, with alterations made in the 19th century. The farmhouse is constructed of brick with an old plain tile roof. It originally comprised four bays by two storeys, with a bay added to one end. A bay has been added to the right-hand end of the front elevation. To the left of the centre bay, a window replacing the roof has been inserted, and to the left of the remaining bays a 12-pane sash window is present. In the added bay is a 3-light casement window. The older part of the building features a raised first-floor band. On the first floor, four 12-pane sash windows are visible, along with a lower-set 2-light casement window in the added bay. A flat-roofed 2-light casement window is located on the right-hand side of the older bay. The roof is hipped, with a stack at the right-hand end of the original section.
