Description

This sundial, located approximately 8 yards south of the church in Waberthwaite, is a Grade II listed structure. It features a brass plate dated 1830, created by Watkins & Hill of London for the Reverend J. Stanley. The sundial is made of sandstone and stands about 5½ feet high. It has a moulded square plinth and a turned upright, topped with a moulded square section that includes an inset circular brass plate and a gnomon.
