Description
This sundial, located approximately 9 metres south of the Church of All Saints, dates from the late 18th century or early 19th century. It is made of dressed grey sandstone and has an octagonal shape. The sundial features a large moulded base, a plain shaft, and a plain top. The copper dial plate is inscribed with "James Walsh: Sculpsit" and includes a gnomon. The plinth may be a reused piece from the early 18th century. This sundial is included for its group value with the church.
