Description

BERRINGTON C.P. BERRINGTON SJ 5206-5306 11/38 Sundial approximately - 6 metres to south of south aisle of Church of All Saints GV II Sundial. Mid-to-late C18. Grey sandstone ashlar with C20 cement repairs. Tapered square-section baluster with circular neck and pedestal, square base on circular step, and square top. Copper dial and gnomen. Dial inscribed: "Richd. Harper / SALOP" and "Watch and Pray Time hastens away".
