Description
The sundial, located approximately 8 meters south of the south aisle of the Church of All Saints, is likely from the late 18th century. It features a brass plate and gnomon made in 1912 by F. Barker and Son of Clerkenwell Road, London. The sundial is made of sandstone and has a dumpy vase-shaped baluster with a moulded plinth and capping, resting on two circular steps. The inscription around the octagonal rim of the plate reads, "IN MEMORIAM W.M.S. AETAT 31 1912 WATCH! FOR YE KNOW NOT THE HOUR."
