Description
Road Farmhouse is a 17th-century building that has been converted from a farmhouse to a house. It features a date and inscription over the entrance reading "IW 1690." The exterior is finished with painted stucco walls and topped with a graduated greenslate roof, which includes painted rendered chimney stacks. The house is two storeys high and consists of four bays. A 20th-century door is set in a plain reveal beneath the dated and inscribed lintel. The windows are sash style, also in plain reveals, with the smaller upper-floor windows indicating a 17th-century origin. There is a small fire window located on the extreme left side of the building. Inside, the property includes an inglenook fireplace with a fire beam and a beamed ceiling.
