Description
Ruthwaite Farmhouse is a late 17th or early 18th century farmhouse. It has a painted incised render exterior beneath a 20th-century tile roof, with cement-rendered chimney stacks. The main block is two storeys and three bays, with a rear extension creating a T-shaped layout. A plank door is set within a painted stone surround. The original facade features two-light chamfered stone-mullioned windows, and other sash windows with glazing bars in painted stone surrounds. A 19th-century extension has sash windows in painted stone surrounds. A barn located to the right is not considered to be of historical significance.
