Description

14 North Street is a house with a shop, likely originally part of the same building as No. 12. It dates from the early 17th century and was remodeled in the early 19th century. The front is rendered and is probably timber-framed, with a slated roof and a chimney visible behind the ridge. The building has three storeys and is two windows wide, featuring a late 19th-century shop front. The house door has six panes, and there are eight-paned sash windows in moulded flush frames. Notably, there is a very deep boxed eaves-cornice. The interior, which was inspected only on the ground storey, includes a front part with a chamfered beam that has scroll stops and some studding in the left wall.
