Description

No. 16 North Street is a house with a shop, built in the mid-19th century. It may have been a remodelling of part of a larger house that originally included Nos. 12-14. The front is rendered to imitate masonry, and the right gable features slate-hanging. The roof is slated, and the building has three storeys with a single window width. The late 19th-century shop front is notable, while the upper storey windows have plain sashes set in moulded frames, with the second storey window also featuring a cornice. The building has a deep bracketed eaves-cornice.
