SO 8532 FORTHAMPTON ARBOUR ELMS

2/40 No 23, Rose Cottage and No 24 (Forthampton Estate) II

Two cottages semi-detached. Mid C17-C18 and C19. Square-panelled timber-framing with unpainted brick infill. Thatch and red tile roof, brick stacks. L-shaped plan with C19 lean-to onto forward facing gable-end left. 1½ storeys. Irregular fenestration including one eyebrow dormer. Two, 3 and 4-light wood casements with horizontal glazing bars. C19 plank door in right-hand wall of forward facing gable left. Projecting gable-end stacks. Interior not inspected.
