Description
Arbour Elm Cottage is a pair of semi-detached cottages dating from the late 17th to 18th century and the 19th to 20th century. The cottages feature square-panelled timber-framing with painted brick infill and have a red tile roof with brick stacks. The building has a rectangular plan and is 1½ storeys high. The upper floor is illuminated by four roof dormers, each with 2-light 20th-century plate glass casements. The ground floor has 2-light casements with glazing bars. There are two 19th-century plank doors, each with a small gabled canopy supported by wooden brackets. The left gable end has a stack incorporated into a 19th-century extension, while the central axial stack features sawtooth brickwork decoration at the top. The interior has not been inspected.
