SO 8532 FORTHAMPTON CHURCH LANE (south side)

7/46 Sarn Cottage GV II

Detached cottage. Late C17-C18 and C19-early C20. Square- panelled timber-framing with painted brick infill. Plastic thatch and red tile roofing. Rectangular main body with C19-early C20 timber-framed extension to left gable end. Rendered, flat-roofed extension left, not of special interest. 1½ storeys. Irregular fenestration including one eyebrow dormer, all 2 and 3-light casements with horizontal glazing bars. C20 part-glazed porch at right gable-end with glazed C20 door with glazing bars. Gable-end stack at left end of main body. Interior not inspected. (Forthampton Estate).
