Description
New Yew Trees is a detached cottage located on the north side of Church Lane in Forthampton. It dates from the 18th century and the 20th century. The cottage features square-panelled timber-framing with unpainted brick infill and a red tile roof, along with a brick stack. The main body has a rectangular plan. At the rear, there is a 20th-century lean-to that is not of special interest. The cottage is two stories high with a symmetrical facade that has two windows. All windows are 2-light casements with diamond leaded panes. The central entrance has a 19th-century plank door and is topped by a gabled 20th-century part-glazed porch. The interior has not been inspected. The property is part of the Forthampton Estate.
