Description

A pair of cottages dating from the 18th century, located on Church Street in Tempsford. The cottages are built with roughcast render over a timber frame and have thatched roofs. They are arranged with a three-room plan, consisting of one storey and attics. Each cottage has three two-light casement windows on each floor, with the attic windows set within eyebrow dormers. The ground floor windows are fitted with plank shutters. There are two plank doors. A red brick stack is integrated into the left-hand gable end, and another red brick stack is located on the ridge between the two right-hand bays. A slate-roofed lean-to addition is attached to the right-hand gable end.
