Description
No. 4 is a house located on Mill Lane, dating from the 18th century. It features colourwashed roughcast over a timber frame and has a thatched roof. The building has a two-room plan and is one storey high with attics. The front elevation facing the road includes a plank door and a two-light horizontal sash window with glazing bars in the left-hand room. The right-hand gable end has a two-light casement window on each floor. There is a red brick ridge stack and an external red brick stack on the right gable end. To the left gable end, there is a later lean-to addition, also with a thatched roof, and a 20th-century single-storey addition at the rear.
