Description

No. 40 Sandy Road is a house dating from the 18th century. It features a colourwashed render over a timber frame and has a thatched roof. The building has a two-room plan and is one storey high with attics. On the ground floor, there are two 2-light casement windows with glazing bars. The attic includes an eyebrow dormer that also has a 2-light casement window with glazing bars. There is an off-centre panelled door and a red brick ridge stack. To the left, there is a single-storey weatherboarded block that has a 2-light casement window with glazing bars and a thatched roof.
