Description
Manor Farmhouse is a house dating from the 17th century, with a later extension from the 19th century. The original section is timber framed and covered in pebbledash render, while the later part is constructed from red brick. The roofs are made of clay tiles. The building was originally designed in an L-shape, featuring a two-storey cross-wing with attics and a two-storey wing that borders the road. The 19th-century block to the north is also two storeys but is taller than the original sections.
The earlier part of the house has two 2-light casement windows with glazing bars on both the ground and first floors, and a 2-light casement with glazing bars in the gable attic. In the later part, the first floor has three irregularly spaced 2-light casements with glazing bars, all featuring round-arched heads, while there are no windows on the ground floor. The doorway to the right of the later blocks has a 6-flush-panel door topped by a blocked semi-circular fanlight. The cross-wing has a multiple ridge stack, and there are gable end stacks made of red brick at both ends.
