Description
The brewhouse and outbuilding at Church Farm are 17th century structures with later modifications. The buildings are timber framed, with the right-hand wing covered in weatherboarding and the left-hand wing featuring colourwashed brick infill and some brick rebuilding. They have clay tile roofs and are arranged in an L-plan, with the left-hand wing being two storeys and the right-hand wing single storey. The left-hand wing has casement windows with glazing bars and an integral brick stack on the left gable end. The right gable features a gabled timber porch at the ground floor with double plank doors. The attic reveals exposed timber framing with brick infilling in a herringbone pattern and a single light opening that retains remnants of wood latticework. The buildings also display wavy-edged bargeboards.
