Description

Post Office Cottages are a pair of cottages dating from the 18th century. They are timber-framed and rendered, now featuring a plastic thatch roof. The cottages share a red brick ridge stack and a string course. The layout is a single range plan, with each cottage containing one heated room and a pantry on the ground floor. The buildings are one storey high with an attic, and they have two dormers. There are two 19th century hung sash windows and two 20th century doors at the doorways, which may be in their original locations.
