Description
Abloads Court is a detached farmhouse dating from the 18th century, with early 19th century and mid to late 19th century additions. The building features both painted and unpainted brick, a red tile roof, and brick stacks. The main body of the farmhouse is rectangular and two storeys high, with a three-windowed facade. To the left is a 19th century six-panel door and a two-windowed mid to late 19th century extension. Most windows are 12-pane sashes. A cast iron veranda runs across the facade of the main body and continues to the left across part of the mid to late 19th century extension. The early 19th century extension at the rear has sawtooth brickwork at the eaves. The right gable end of the main body features twin projecting stacks, along with gable-end and axial stacks. The interior has not been inspected.
