Description

14 and 15 Court Drive are two attached cottages, likely built in the late 16th century, 17th century, and 19th century, with minor alterations made in the mid-20th century. They feature brick-nogged timber framing, a brick plinth, and a tiled roof. The cottages are designed with three rooms, one room deep, and a single room extension at the rear, forming an 'L' shape, all at 1½ storeys.

The front of the cottages has a brick end for the chimney on the right, with timber framing consisting of three panels high, except for the left end, which is close studded at the bottom and has two square panels high above. On the right side, there is a two-light 20th-century metal window, a glazed door accessed by two stone steps, and a two-light window with a single window on each side. Above, there are two triangular dormers, each featuring a two-light metal window with a square leaded light above. A brick chimney is located below the ridge on the right gable, and there is another chimney on the ridge between the dormers, with the roof hipped at the left corner.

On the left return, the framing is three panels high, with a two-light metal window. There is a boarded door under a peaked hood, paired with two-light 20th-century metal windows, and an angle brace to the wallplate from the corner post on the left end. A lean-to structure is attached to the gable. Above, the right triangular dormer has a two-light casement with small panes and a square light above, while the left dormer features a two-light metal window with a square pane above. The roof pitch changes between the dormers, with a ridge chimney at the change and an external chimney on the left gable. This building forms a group with No 13.
