Description
Green Farmhouse is a farmhouse built in the second quarter of the 19th century. It features English-bond brickwork and a slate roof. The building is three windows wide, two rooms deep, and has two and a half storeys. The front door, which is half-glazed and from the 20th century, is accessed by one stone step and has a semi-circular fanlight above it, framed by a rubbed brick arch. On either side of the door are 16-pane sash windows, each with a flat rubbed-brick arch. There are three similar windows located above on the upper floor. The roof is hipped, and there are two chimneys positioned along the centerline of the building. On the right side, there is a 9-pane window under a cambered brick arch on the ground floor, and two 2-light casement windows under the eaves that serve the attics.
