Description

Hill Farmhouse is a farmhouse dating from the late 17th to early 18th century. It is constructed of red English garden wall bond brick and features a slate roof. The entrance front has three bays, with a door located to the left of the center. This door has a splayed head surround and is a 19th-century six-panel door. On either side of the door, there are three-light splayed head casement windows. A band of two bricks in depth runs between the ground and first floors. On the first floor, there are two three-light casements, one to the left and one to the right, both with slightly splayed heads. Above these windows, there is another band of two bricks in depth. To the left, there is a 19th-century outshut. The left gable end features two two-light casements on the first floor and a 19th-century abutment to the right.

On the rear elevation, there is a doorway with a cambered arch to the left of the center, accompanied by two-light casements to the right. In the center, there is a mezzanine staircase window with two lights and a splayed head. There are also two two-light splayed head windows on the first floor to the left and right, and one additional two-light window above in the center, which serves as a staircase window to the attic.
