Description
No 13 Court Drive is a cottage dating from the 17th century, with 19th-century alterations and some minor changes in the 20th century. It features brick-nogged timber framing set on a stone plinth, with a brick extension and a tiled roof. The cottage is two bays wide and one and a half storeys high, with a single room depth. There is a single-storey extension that forms an 'L' shape.
The gable facing the road has a 2-light casement window with an iron opening light; the left half has small panes while the right half is a leaded light. Above this window, there is a projecting window supported by brackets, which is also a 2-light casement with small panes and a lean-to top. The gable features 'V' struts.
On the left side, there is a projecting brick wing on the right with a fully-glazed door in the gable. The main house has an angle brace to the wallplate, a single-light window, and a boarded door that is accessed by two stone steps, with weatherboarding above it and a 2-light metal window. An external brick chimney is located on the left gable. This cottage forms a group with Nos 14 and 15 Court Drive.
