Description

Chandler's Farmhouse, also known as Court Farm, is a farmhouse dating from the mid to late 18th century and the mid to late 19th century. It is constructed of brick, with some areas rebuilt, and features a red and grey tiled roof and a brick stack. The main structure is a rectangular 18th-century range, with 19th-century extensions to the rear that are not of special interest. The farmhouse is two storeys high with an attic and has a two-windowed south front that faces the A417. The windows include segmental-headed single-light, two-light, and three-light casements with horizontal glazing bars and flat-arched heads on the first floor, as well as two-light attic windows at each gable end. A large axial stack is present. The interior has not been inspected but may hold interest.
