Description
Bridge House is a detached cottage dating from the 17th century. It features square-panelled timber framing with plastered infill visible on the north-east side, while the gable ends and the south-west front are clad with large blocks of coursed squared and dressed limestone. The upper part of the west gable end may have been rebuilt. The south-west side has a stone slate roof, while the rear is covered with concrete tiles, and there are brick stacks. The cottage has a rectangular plan and stands two storeys tall. The south-west front has four windows, which are lit by 2 and 3-light wooden casements. The ground floor windows have keystones, and there is a part-glazed door with a keystone to the far left, flanked by windows towards the right gable end. The west gable end has a three-light wooden casement, and there is a raking buttress at the east gable end. The building features a gable-end and lateral stack. The interior is not accessible.
