Farmhouse. Probably early C19, parts may be earlier. Plastered rubble, some exposed to rear, maybe some cob; stone rubble or brick stacks topped with C19 or C20 brick; thatch roof. L-shaped house with the main block facing south-east. To the left (south-west) is a 2-room deep block along the street with rear lateral stack, then, to right a taller 2-room crosswing which projects a little to the rear and has 2 outer lateral stacks. The rear kitchen stack projects. The main door is now at the back in the angle of the wings. 2 storeys. Irregular 3-window front, one to the main block and 2 to the crosswing. All are C20 casements with glazing bars, so too are the windows on the other sides except for 2 to rear which have no glazing bars. The main block and crosswing roofs have hipped ends. Interior: what little carpentry detail exposed is plain. Roof inaccessible. own as Rockbeare Court Farm on OS map.
