Description
Parsonage Farmhouse is a farmhouse that likely dates from the late 18th century to the early 19th century. It is constructed of plastered cob on rubble footings, with cob or rubble stacks that are topped with 19th-century brick, and features a thatched roof. The building consists of a two-room cottage that faces south, with a central through passage and stacks projecting from each end. The front has a symmetrical arrangement of three windows, which are modern casements from the 20th century. The front door retains its original bead-moulded frame and is accompanied by a 20th-century gabled porch that includes a panel of 19th-century glass made up of very small coloured leaded panes. Additionally, there is a late 19th-century horizontal-sliding sash window on the first floor at the left (west) end facing the road. Inside, the carpentry details are plain.
