Description
This is a barn and shelter sheds located approximately 50 metres south-east of Woodend Farm, dating from the 17th to early 18th century. The structure features square-panelled timber framing that has been later weatherboarded, topped with a red tile roof. The barn has a rectangular plan and is part of a three-sided yard formed by the open-fronted shelter sheds, with the barn making up one side on the north.
Inside, the barn consists of five bays supported by queen post trusses with raking struts on either side of the threshing floor. The low sill walls have timber-framed bracing on either side of the threshing floor. The shelter sheds to the north have four open bays in each range.
