Description
Glebe Cottage is a detached cottage that was formerly two cottages, dating from the 17th century and mid-20th century. The main part of the cottage features square-panelled timber framing with painted brick infill and has a thatched roof with decorative ridge thatching. There is a 20th-century brick extension with a thatched roof, which has a rectangular plan and includes a timber-framed extension at one gable end. This extension projects out at right angles from the side of the main body. The main body is two storeys high and has 20th-century two and three-light steel casements. The entrance front has the 20th-century extension projecting forwards at the centre, featuring a 20th-century two-panelled fielded door. To the left of this projection is a 20th-century part-glazed door. The extension has a hipped roof and an axial stack connecting to the timber-framed main body.
