Description

Woodend Farmhouse is an early 19th-century farmhouse with later extensions. It is constructed of brick and has a red tile roof with brick stacks. The building follows an L-shaped plan, with further extensions at the rear. The symmetrical front facade has three windows. The ground floor features tripartite sash windows, with a central six-pane sash within segmental-headed surrounds. The first floor has two sixteen-pane sashes and one twelve-pane sash. A central 19th-century four-panel front door, now with the upper two panels glazed, is set within a gabled canopy. A four-pane hall light is positioned above the door. Brick dentils are present at the eaves, while gabled-end and off-the-ridge stacks feature dentil decoration. The right gable end has a raking coping with a kneeler. The interior has not been inspected.
