Description
This is a barn and shelter shed built in the late 18th to early 19th century, located approximately 30 metres west of School Farm. The structure is made of brick and has a red tile roof. It features a rectangular plan with a single bay cart store at the east gable end and a shelter shed at right angles at the west gable end. There are opposing double doors in the side walls of the barn, and diamond-shaped ventilation panels are present in the south wall and the east gable ends.
Inside, the barn has five bays with original roof trusses that include raking struts. The gable end of the cart store is half-hipped and has diagonal timber framing, along with a plank door leading to the loft. The shelter shed consists of six open bays, which are divided by timber uprights resting on stone padstones.
