Description
FRAMPTON-ON-SEVERN CHURCH END SO 7406-7506 11/113 Cartshed and store about 25m north of Barn at Tanhouse Farm GV II Small agricultural building reputed to be variously part of former manor house, or priest's house. Early C16. Brick on plinth with some timber-framing on south side, tile roof with half hip to west. Small rectangular building of single room with adjoining passage, open to north side, with 2 small attic rooms above. Roof on north side has arched windbracing at lower level. Small gabled dormer with 3-light leaded wood casement to south. Originally with large stone stack now partially removed on upper floor and without flue, backing on to passage. Lower level room has chamfered and stopped beam and joists, with triangular stops to joists. Doorway to rear has wood Tudor arch surround.
