Description

This is an unidentified chest tomb located about 2 meters south of the chancel in the churchyard of the Church of St. Mary the Virgin in Frampton-on-Severn. It dates from the late 18th century and is made of limestone. The tomb features a flat top with a moulded plinth and capping on the base. On the west side, there is a cherub's head, while the south side has a recessed panel with a carved edge. All these features, along with the remaining panels, are severely eroded.
