Description
FRAMPTON-ON-SEVERN CHURCH END SO 7406-7506 11/93 Jennings, Garfield and four Unidentified Monuments, immediately north of window to east of north door in churchyard of Church of St. Mary the Virgin GV II Chest tomb, Thomas Jennings 1787, and 5 headstones in line to north from west end. Limestone. Chest with flat top, moulded plinth and capping on base, gadrooned quarter balusters. Sides have circular raised panels, with moulded edge to north, recessed floral relief to east end and urn to west end. Headstones mostly unidentified of mid/late C18 with furthest north to William Garfield 1771. Two with square tops, 3 rounded; central 3 with carved cherub's head and wings.
