Description

Mills Monument is a chest tomb located about 15 meters north of the northeast chapel buttress in the churchyard of the Church of St. Mary the Virgin in Frampton-on-Severn. It was erected in 1830 for Edward Mills and is made of limestone. The tomb features a flat top with a moulded plinth and capping, and has indented corners. The sides are adorned with raised panels that have rounded projections at the top and bottom, along with carved spandrels. Notable decorative elements include two cherubs' heads on the west end and a relief of a book and trumpet on the east end.
