Description
This building is a barn and cartshed located 10 meters southwest of Mill House. The barn dates from the 17th century, while the cartshed was built in the early 19th century. The barn features a timber-frame structure that is weatherboarded, and the cartshed is made of brick and weatherboarding with an old plain tile roof. The barn has five bays, with the cartshed extending from the left bay and additional sheds at the rear of the center bay. It includes double doors in the second left bay and a door in the right bay, and the roof is half-hipped. Inside, the barn has a Queen post roof supported by curved and straight braces to the tiebeams and wallplate, along with windbraces. The cartshed is open, with walls that are either weatherboarded or made of brick.
