Description
The cartsheds, shelter, barn, and store located to the northwest of Newhouse Farmhouse date from the late 18th century. These structures form ranges around two sides of a farmyard and are constructed with a timber frame and weatherboarding, set on brick plinths, and topped with half-hipped roofs made of old tiles. The barn features a roof with three small lozenges of darker tiles. The cartsheds and shelter are open to the farmyard, while the barn, which consists of three bays, has a central wagon entry. Inside, it has trusses with collars and braced tie beams, along with double purlins. A store is attached to the right side of the barn.
