Description

Oegrove Farmhouse is an early 17th-century farmhouse located on The Street, Frampton-on-Severn. The building is characterised by square panel timber framing with painted brick infill on a stone plinth; the rear elevation has unpainted brick infill, while the north gable end is brick and the south gable end is coursed stone. The front has a stone slate roof, the rear has double Roman tiles, and there are brick end stacks, with a small inserted lateral brick stack at the rear. Originally a single range of two storeys and an attic, it likely had a cross passage plan. A single-storey rear extension and a wing to the left were added in the 20th century and are not considered to be of special interest. The first floor has three 20th-century windows set into the timber frame, while the ground floor has two 20th-century windows flanking a chamfered 3-centred archway containing a 20th-century door.
