Description
This building is a barn and cartshed, dating from the late 18th century, located approximately 40 meters to the north and east of Manor Farmhouse. The barn is constructed of flint with brick dressings and features a half-hipped roof covered with old tiles. It has offset brick eaves and is aisled, comprising six bays with gabled cart entries in bays two and five. The left gable includes a 20th-century clock. There are vent slits and a small blocked window to the left of the center. Inside, the barn has queen strut trusses, diagonal braces supporting the tie-beams and aisle-plates, and curved wind-braces, with some timbers being reused. The cartshed, which is attached at an angle to the front right corner of the barn, also has six bays, a rear wall made of flint and brick, an old tile roof, and weatherboarded outer bays.
