Description
Manor Farmhouse is a house that was originally part of a barn, dating from the late 17th to 18th century. It has been refurbished, with the left bays rebuilt in the 20th century. The building is constructed of brick and has an old tile roof, featuring a brick chimney between the right bays. It is one storey with an attic and consists of three bays, each with a gable facing the front. The windows are 20th-century paired barred wooden casements, with a single light window between the left bays. There is a flush-panelled door between the right bays, topped with a flat wooden hood supported by shaped brackets, and another door is located at the left end. The rear has flint and brick gabled extensions, and there is an additional extension, formerly a barn, set back to the left. This extension is also made of flint and brick, has a tiled roof, and features a brick chimney between the right bays. It is one storey with an attic and has three bays; the left bay contains blocked vent slits, while the right bays have 20th-century three-light barred wooden casements on the ground floor and leaded casements in the gabled eaves-line dormers. There are further 20th-century extensions to the rear of the left bay.
