Description

This is an early 19th-century house and shop situated on the north side of Minchinhampton Market Square. The building is constructed of random rubble limestone, with a rebuilt chimney of artificial stone and a stone slate roof. It is two storeys high with an attic and a rear wing. The front elevation features three segmental arched timber casements on the upper floor. A large segmental arch provides the entrance to the ground floor, with a central plank door flanked by two small-pane fixed windows. There is a glazed shop front with a canopy to the right. Two gabled roof dormers are visible. Rebuilt chimneys are located at the east end. C20 casements are present on the rear wing. The interior has not been inspected. The building is included on the list for its group value within the historic market square.
