Including Railings

This is a mid-17th century building, originally three houses, now a single house located on the north side of Minchinhampton Market Square. The building was altered in the mid- to late-18th century. It is constructed of random rubble limestone, with ashlar detailing and rebuilt chimneys of brick. The roof is covered in stone slates.

The building is two storeys high with an attic, and includes a return block to the west. The south front has a mixed pattern of windows, with the original features primarily found on the right side. This section has a full gable featuring a two-light recessed chamfered mullioned casement window with a hoodmould in the attic, a three-light window on each floor below, and a small stairlight window to the right. Various casement windows are located on the left side, with ground floor alterations made in the 20th century. A doorway is present under a larger timber lintel, accompanied by a small, multi-paned fixed-light window to the right. The roof is hipped where a former gable once stood, and features a reset oval window below the eaves.

The west elevation, facing the churchyard, displays the original part of the building on the right side, featuring a three-light casement window on each floor. Indications of the original gable line are visible below the eaves. An eaves-mounted chimney with a chamfered cap is on the right. An 18th-century addition is on the left, adjoining Vestry Cottage on Bell Lane, and features two casement windows on each floor.

The front railings have hoop tops alternating with spear heads. The interior of the building has not been inspected.
