Description
This is a former detached house, now divided into three separate dwellings. It dates to the late 17th century, although the precise date is unknown. The house is constructed of random rubble limestone, with some areas partially rendered. The chimneys have been rebuilt in ashlar and brick, and the roof is covered with concrete tiles. The property is two storeys high with an attic, and incorporates a cross wing at the east end.
The south side features a full gable to the left, containing a large, heavy-framed three-light timber casement window with lozenge leading. A three-light chamfered stone-mullioned casement window sits on the ground floor, accompanied by a hoodmould. Various other casement windows, largely from the 20th century, are present, alongside timber cross-windows to the right. A hip-roofed porch addition is situated in the angle with the wing to the right. A roughly central rendered chimney rises from the ridge, topped with a moulded cap. The east side predominantly features 20th-century casement windows.
The north side presents two full gables, with a lower gabled stair wing located centrally. The gables have mostly been updated with 20th-century replacement windows, though each retains an original, heavy-framed timber casement with a timber lintel. Later additions have been made to this side of the building. The interior has not been inspected.
