Description
The Methodist Church is a Wesleyan Methodist chapel built in 1804. It is constructed from coursed and squared rubble limestone and features a Welsh slate roof. The building is rectangular in shape, with meeting rooms located on the north side.
The front of the church has a parapet gable with kneelers and moulded coping. It has a three-window arrangement on two levels, with all windows being round arched and featuring plain architraves, Y-tracery, and marginal glazing bars that include coloured glass in the margins. Above the round arched doorway, which has 20th-century plank doors, there is a central blocked window recess with a cobweb fanlight above. To the right, a plain parapet screen wall extends with a smaller off-centre round arched doorway.
On the south side, there are two round arched windows similar to those on the front, also arranged on two levels. The north side features four-window casement fenestration, mostly consisting of three-light timber windows with three-centred arched lights; two of these are located on the ground floor with segmental arched openings. The interior has not been inspected.
