Description
Vestry Cottage is a late 18th-century house located on the end of a row in Minchinhampton, along Bell Lane. It is constructed from coursed rubble limestone with ashlar chimneys and features a stone slate roof. The building is two stories tall and has a front with four windows. The ground floor windows are segmental arched and fitted with 20th-century casements, while the off-centre segmental arched doorway has a 20th-century glazed door. The upper floor has square-headed leaded iron casements. Gable end chimneys have plain caps, and stone steps lead to the upper floor doorway at the north end. There is a 20th-century lean-to that is not of special interest. The interior has not been inspected. Vestry Cottage is attached to the west end of Nos 1 and 2, Market Square.
