Description
Magnet Cottage is a small house that is attached to Magnet House, dating from the late 17th century and extensively restored in the 20th century. It is constructed of random rubble limestone with ashlar chimneys and features both stone slate and concrete tile roofs. The building is two stories tall. The front has a gable end with 20th-century mullioned windows, featuring a four-light window on the ground floor and a three-light window above. There is a tall chimney mounted on the eaves on the east side, which has a chamfered cap. The rear also has 20th-century mullioned windows in the gable end, along with a casement window in a former loft doorway on the upper floor. The interior has not been inspected. The cottage is included for its group value with Magnet House.
